Tips & Tricks to Using Threaded Through Ball Passes in FIFA 20

It’s worth noting that you’ll want to hold these button inputs noted above to control the power. The longer you hold it, the more you’ll fill up the gauge above your player’s stamina bar, indicating how much power will be on the shot.

You’ll want to get a grasp of how much power you need to put on the ball depending on how far away your player is, but this will come naturally as you play more of the game.

On top of all this, it’s important to make sure you’re playing a threaded through ball to a player at the right time.

If the player you’re passing to has a defender right in front of them, you don’t want to use a through ball. Instead, make sure your player is making their run past the defender, before they’re offside.

Get it right and your player will be able to sprint onto the ball, past the defender, and be left in acres of space to take their time placing it past the keeper.

That’s everything you need to know on how to do a threaded through ball in FIFA 20. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding guide wiki or search for Twinfinite. We have also listed some other helpful guides down below.
