Here’s How to Cheat Skills in The Sims 4

There are adult, child, toddler and retail skill cheats in The Sims 4 and each cheat maxes out a particular skill. Before you can even use them, though, you have to know how to input them into the game. Let’s talk about that first.

The most important caveat in The Sims 4 for this topic is this: these are only available on the PC editions of the game. If you’re on PS4 or Xbox One, these are not accessible.

With that out of the way, let’s talk about inputting them into the game. Before you can input them, you have to open the Cheat Console.

To do that, press control + shift + c at the same time. This will bring up a menu where you can input any cheat you want.

Open the Cheat Console and input the max skill cheat of your choosing. We’ll put a few examples down below to let you know what these look like and how they work but for a full list, head to this Sims 4 cheats website.

  • Max Acting: input stats.set_skill_level Major_Acting 10 into the menu and your Sim will have its Acting skill maxed out.
  • Max Creativity for Child: input stats.set_skill_level Skill_Child_Creativity 10 into the menu and your child Sim will have its Creativity skill maxed out.

That’s it for our guide on The Sims 4 Skills cheats.
