New Gears 5 Trailers Show Escape Mode, Map Builder, and Limited Edition Xbox One X Unboxing

Today Microsoft and The Coalition released a bunch of videos of the upcoming third-person shooter Gears 5.

First of all, we get an introduction to the new Escape mode that will be included in the game.

The second video showcases the map builder, that lets you customize your own maps for escape mode including enemies, gear, venom spread, map tiles, and much more. It appears to be quite a powerful tool to let you customize your game however you like.

Thirdly, we get an unboxing of the Limited Edition Xbox One X that was announced yesterday alongside a bunch of accessories. It even comes with custom sounds when you turn it on and off.

If you’re interested in seeing more of Gears 5, we got plenty of reveals at Microsoft’s E3 press briefing including a cinematic trailer, the introduction of the Escape mode, and the reveal of the Terminator Dark Fate pack.

Speaking of Escape, we also got more videos showcasing its diverse characters, while a cinematic cutscene from the story introduced Fahz.

On the other hand, we also saw another trailer introducing the Escalation mode and one showcasing the boot camp.

 Gears 5 is coming on September 10 for Xbox One and PC. Those who have a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will get to play the game four days early.

Following the recent multiplayer test, on August 19 hands-on opportunities with Horde Mode will be available at Gamescom.
