Man of Medan is Supermassive Games’ take on a spooky story surrounding a so-called haunted ship called the Ourang Medan, which is actually based on a true story. If you’re trying to figure out how to play co-op multiplayer, here’s how to do it.
Man of Medan actually has two distinct multiplayer modes for you to choose from. The first mode, Shared Story, allows you to play the entire story online with a friend over the internet who also has a copy of Man of Medan.
How to Play Co-Op Multiplayer in Man of Medan
To get to this mode, just select ‘Don’t Play Alone’ from the main menu and then press ‘Shared Story.’ You will then be prompted to invite a player to your session.
You will both be making choices for different characters and changing up the narrative without even having to discuss with your partner.
The other co-op mode is called Movie Night and can be found in the same menu under Don’t Play Alone. This mode can be played with up to five players in the same room with just one controller.
Each player chooses one of the main characters and when that character is on screen and playable, the assigned person will be able to choose their actions. This is just a fun mode that lets everyone join in on the action and lets you see who can survive the longest.
And that’s pretty much all you need to know about how to play co-op multiplayer in Man of Medan.
