Before we dive any further into this guide, it’s worth noting that Epic has confirmed both the week 1 and week 2 secret stars in Fortnite Season 10 are currently unobtainable. These will be going live with the next update for the game, due to release on Tuesday, Aug. 13. The location will remain the same.

What Are Secret Stars in Fortnite?

As mentioned above, each time you complete a set of weekly challenges from an odd-numbered week, you’ll be given a loading screen which hints at where you can find that week’s secret battle star somewhere on Fortnite’s map.

If you’re able to solve the little clue within the loading screen and make your way to that location on the map in a game, a gold secret battle star will appear. Interact with this and you’ll be given one free Tier on your Battle Pass. Can’t complain about that!

Where to Find Fortnite Season 10 Week 1 Secret Star

Fortnite’s week 1 star can be found just south of The Block at co-ordinates D2, D3, E2, and E3. The clue can be found in this week’s loading screen, just above X-Lord’s head. You’ll see the co-ordinates etched into the metal beam (see above).

Here, you’ll find the telltale dirt patch that you’re in the right spot, and lo and behold, the week 1 secret star will appear as soon as you’re nearby. Interact with it to get a free Season 10 Battle Pass Tier.
