Fortnite: Run Down Hero Mansion & Abandoned Villain Lair Locations (Blockbuster)

fortnite blockbuster mission

Fortnite’s Blockbuster Mission is now available in Season X, granting players a bunch of new challenges to earn Battle Stars, cosmetics, XP and more. One tasks players to ‘Land at a run down Hero Mansion and an Abandoned Villain Lair.’ Here’s where to find them both on Fortnite’s vast map.

Fortnite Hero Mansion & Villain Lair Locations

  1. Fortnite Hero Mansion
  2. Fortnite Villain Lair

On the map above, we’ve marked both Fortnite’s Hero Mansion and Villain Lair with nice red circles. If you’re looking for a more detailed breakdown of the locations though, we’ve continued to do so below.

Fortnite Hero Mansion

Fortnite’s Hero mansion has actually been in the game for about seven seasons now and can be found just south of Lonely Lodge. It’s right on the borderline of grid references J5 and J6.

Fortnite Villain Lair

The villain lair on the other hand can be found over on the opposite side of the map. It’s on top of the mountain just to the northeast of Snobby Shores and can be found in grid reference B4. You have to climb to the top of the mountain to enter.

Searching Chests at Hero Mansion and Villain Lair

Upon landing at each of these locations and completing the first set of Blockbuster challenges in Fortnite, players can then unlock the Prestige missions.

For the Fortnite hero mansion and villain lair challenge, players then need to search seven chests at either of these two locations. We’d recommend heading to either of these during a Team Rumble game, as players largely flock to named locations with a heavy density of chests.

Also, you can make this Prestige mission even easier by using the Party Assist feature. Anyone who’s in your party who opens a chest will contribute to your progress with this mission.

That’s everything you need to know on where to find Fortnite’s hero mansion and villain lair locations. For more tips, tricks, and guides on this current season, be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 10 guide wiki.
