Fans of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown have been waiting for quite a while to hear something new about the game’s story DLCs. Today, Bandai Namco and the developers at Project Aces added one more piece to the puzzle.
Said piece is a new trailer in a style that we have seen before, providing cryptic hints about the plot of the new DLC, which will be apparently titled “Unexpected Visitors.”
The DLC was already teased back in July, but we’re still pretty much in the dark about most of it.
Another element we do not know is the release date. Today’s trailer still marks the launch of the DLC as “coming soon.”
And that “coming soon” is indeed another little mystery. The previous teaser slated the release as “fall 2019” but that mention has disappeared here.
The trailer’s cryptic message may actually hide a delay. The dialogue recites.
“Which reminds me, that document’s release was slated for this year, no?”
“No, 2020.”
That’s just a personal theory, so please don’t take it as absolute truth. Bandai Namco said nothing explicit officially one way or the other.
You can check out the trailer below, and judge for yourself.
Speaking of DLC, you can check out the trailer that introduced the first three. The ADF-11F Raven and the ADF-01 Falken have already been released, while the ADFX-01 Morgan will come on July 31, 2019.
