The new game in the Wolfenstein series is out now and Youngblood sees you play as Jess & Soph as they try to search for their Dad, B.J Blazkovicz. With there being two protagonists, you can play in co-op. Here’s everything you need to know about whether there is couch co-op multiplayer in Wolfenstein Youngblood.
Is There Couch Co-op Multiplayer in Wolfenstein Youngblood?
While it is a co-op focused game, Youngblood unfortunately only offers online co-op, whether that be with a friend or someone you don’t know who’s also playing.
By selecting the Play Game option from the main menu, you are able to set up a game on your own, where no one can join you and the other sister is controller by AI, or you can set up an online game.
The online options allow you to find or create a random open game for anyone to join if they search. You’ll then play through a mission with someone you probably don’t know. To just find a game quickly, select Quickmatch and wait for the search to finish. You can’t set up a splitscreen local co-op multiplayer game though.
If you want to play with a friend, which is where most of the fun is to be had with Wolfenstein Youngblood, either create a game and invite who you want to play with or ask them to create a game and invite you.
Alternatively, you could select Join Game to prompt your system into looking for friends who have set up a public game.
If splitscreen local co-op multiplayer is ever added to the game as part of a future update, we’ll be sure to update you here.
