Today Arc System Works released two new trailers of its upcoming fighting action game Kill la Kill The Game: IF.
The videos showcase two of the playable characters in the game, heroines Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuin. Yet, they come with a twist. These two versions dual-wield their weapons.
If you’re not familiar with them, here’s a brief intro of each.
Ryuko Matoi (Dual-Wield)
Alternate version of Ryuko Matoi.
Retrieved the other half of the Rending Scissors from Nui, and dual-wields both blades for a wider range of attacks.
Satsuki Kiryuin (Dual-Wield)
Alternate version of Satsuki Kiryuin. Wields both the Bakuzan Kōryu and Bakuzan Gako at the same time.
You can check out both trailers below, showing their moves.
If you want to see more, you can also enjoy the previous trailers showcasing Satsuki’s Kiryuin and Ryuko Matoi, more featuring Ira Gamagoori and Uzu Sanageyama, those showcasing Nonon Jakuzure and Houka Inumuta, and the pair showing off Nui Harime and Ragyo Kiryuin.
We also have a video showing the beginning of Satsuki’s story mode, another recent and extensive trailer, the latest gameplay, more recent screenshots, more gameplay showing Ragyo Kiryuin and Nui Harime in action, and a batch of images focusing the protagonists.
You can then take a look at Satsuki’s ultimate form and Ryuko’s, neither of which appeared in the anime.
Lately, Arc System Works released a demo for PS4 and made it absolutely clear that the game is not censored.
Kill la Kill The Game: IF will release on July 26 for PS4 and Switch, just one day after the Japanese launch on July 25. The PC version will actually release on the same day worldwide, on July 25.
