How to Complete All Week 9 Challenges Easily

Use a Chug Jug or Chug Splash in Different Matches

The Chug Jug has a fairly low drop rate due to it being a legendary rarity item. However, the Chug Splash is a little bit more common due to it being a rare rarity item. As such, you’ll be at the mercy of the RNG gods to some extent with this one, but as soon as you get either of these items in a game, use them immediately. Do this three times and you’ll be all set.

Hot Tip: Keep an eye out for rare or legendary vending machines as you’re playing, as you might be able to nab one of these items from these if you’re lucky.

Visit a Solar Array in the Snow, Desert, and the Jungle

This one’s pretty straightforward in that you simply need to visit the different solar arrays and do nothing more. You can check out where all the solar arrays are in the different biomes with our handy array locations guide.

Eliminations With Increasing Rarity Weapons

Getting eliminations isn’t something that really needs explaining, but just in case you’re unsure on what color is which rarity, we’ve broken it down for you below. Further, try hopping into a Team Rumble game in order to complete this challenge in one game.

The fact that you respawn, the small storm circle, and the fact enemies are downed means you can easily finish enemies off with common and uncommon weapons if you’re struggling to get these.

  • Common – Grey
  • Uncommon – Green
  • Rare – Blue
  • Epic – Purple
  • Legendary – Gold

Deal Headshot Damage

This is another of Fortnite’s week 9 challenges which is easily completed with the help of a Team Rumbles game or any mode which sees players getting downed before they’re eliminated. This way, you can down an enemy, get up close, and blast them in the head with a shotgun for easy headshot damage.

Search Chests at Lazy Lagoon or Happy Hamlet

You need to search seven chests at either Lazy Lagoon or Happy Hamlet, but keep in mind you don’t need to get them all from just one of these locations or in a single match. You can take as many matches as you need to complete this week 9 challenge, but again, Team Rumble is pretty great for this.

That’s because if one of these named locations happens to be on your team’s side of the map, you’re unlikely to have to worry dying from opponents. It’s still a case of racing against your teammates, but it does take some of the stress out of things. Additionally, if one of these named locations is miles from the battle bus’ path, go for it for easy chests.

Eliminate Opponents in Different Named Locations

For this week 9 challenge in Fortnite, we’d advise dropping at the most popular named locations to land at. That means Neo Tilted, Paradise Palms, Mega Mall, Pressure Plant, and Salty Springs are solid bets. Wherever you decide to land for this challenge, just ensure you’re within the confines of the named location when you’re eliminating the opponent or it won’t count.

Deal Damage to an Opponent Within 10 Seconds of Landing from a Volcano Vent

There are a ton of Volcano Vents in the northeast corner of the map around Pressure Plant and Sunny Steps. Again, Team Rumble is the best mode to complete this challenge nice and easily.

Getting the Fortnite Week 9 Secret Battle Star

While we’ve broken down exactly where to get the week 9 secret star in our separate guide, complete with pointing out where the clue is in the loading screen, if you’re looking for a quick and easy answer, it’s right here. Simply head to Mega Mall and enter on the west side of the mall itself on the ground floor.
