How to Recruit Assistant Characters in Dr Mario World

First off, you won’t be able to recruit any assistants until you get past level 20 in the main story mode of Dr Mario World. Once you get past that, you will have a section called Characters and Staffing at the bottom of the screen.

In the Staffing section, you can pay diamonds and/or gold coins to unlock characters at random. If you’re lucky, you will be gifted with one of the many assistant characters available in the game. All of these characters are mostly lackeys from the other Mario games such as a Goomba, Piranha Plant, Lakitu, and a Shy Guy.

These assistant characters all have a different passive skills that helps you out during levels. A Goomba, for example, will increase your overall score by 1% when you complete a stage. You can equip up to two assistants by going into the Characters section and pressing on one of the big circles at the top of the page.

As of right now, there are over 30 assistant characters in the game that you can recruit, so unless you’re paying real-world money to unlock diamonds, it’ll take most players a very long time to unlock and/or recruit additional assistant characters.

That is everything you need to know about how to recruit assistant characters in Dr Mario World. For more on the new mobile title, keep checking back here at Twinfinite for more guides and general tips.
