The returning heroine is Rimururu, Nakoruru’s cute little sister, who debuted in Samurai Shodown III in 1995.

You can check out her trailer below and see if you get excited for the DLC.

Incidentally, the season pass which includes Rimururu is completely free if you purchase the game by June 30th, which is a really neat move by SNK.

If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a video featuring Tam Tam and a gallery of his screenshots, another trailer featuring the new character Yashamaru Kurama, another for Yashitora, a pair of trailers featuring Haohmaru and Genjuro alongside the former’s dedicated screenshots, another video showcasing Charlotte and a bunch of her screenshots, a video focusing on Shiki and a few of her images, another showing off Ukyo Tachibana and a gallery of his screenshots.

We also have a video showing off new character Darli Dagger and a batch of screenshots focusing on her as well, a trailer starring Nakoruru, and another featuring the new characters as a whole.

Just a few weeks ago, we learned that the game will release in the west for PS4 and Xbox One on June 25, two days earlier than the Japanese launch.

Samurai Shodown will also release for PC and Switch, and those versions are coming in winter 2019.
