What You Need to Do to Get More Spell Energy in Harry Potter Wizards Unite

What It Does

Spell Energy works in the same way as Poke Balls in Pokemon GO. You essentially use one Spell Energy each time you cast a spell on a Foundable.

When you see a little icon appear in the world, which are called Traces, you’ll be able to catch (return) a specific Foundable, which are the items that you collect in the game.

You can have a maximum of 75 at any one time and you’ll need quite a lot to return the more powerful Foundables since they’ll often resist your spell attempts.

Getting More Spell Energy

There are two ways that you can get more energy in Harry Potter Wizards Unite. The first and easiest way is to head to Inns which you’ll find at landmarks throughout the world. Simply head there and interact with it.

Here, you’ll be presented by what the game calls food. The idea of Inns is that you dine at them. The cloches will shuffle themselves up, at which point you need to move your finger along the spell line that’s shown. This will give you the Spell Energy, which is usually around five.

You need to be near Inns to interact with them, and you can collect the Spell Energy once every five minutes.

Alternatively, you can buy Spell Energy using Gold Coins in the game. Head to the store in the game, which is called Diagon Alley, and select the Wiseacres option at the top of the screen, which is shown my a crystal ball like icon.

Here, halfway down the page, you’ll be able to buy 50 of it for 100 Coins. You can earn them in the game by playing and completing Daily Tasks, but you can also buy 80 for $0.99.

You’ll then be able to head back out into the world and starting catching Foundables again without having to worry about running out of what you need.
