Adding Friends in Harry Potter Wizards Unite

Building up your friends list works in exactly the same way as it does in Pokemon GO, which means the return of annoying friend codes.

You can add a friend by either having them send you their code for you to input into the box in the game, or you can give yours to them. It’s easy either way, but the person who gives the code to the other will need to accept the invite after the code has been put into the game by the other player.

To actually add people, you first need to select the little icon on the right of the screen, above the one that is your Harry Potter Wizards Unite profile. It is a little image of two wizards next to each other, representing buddies.

Clicking that will take you to your friends list. Here, you can either see what friends you have already added are doing or you can choose to add a new one.

Select Add Friend and your code will appear, as well as a box underneath that you can put other codes into. Simply enter the code you’ve been given by someone and the invite will be sent for them to accept. Do note, though, that you can have a maximum of 200 in your list.

What having friends does in Harry Potter Wizards Unite is get you extra XP when you take part in Wizarding Challenges in Fortresses and other places around the world with them.
