Soul Rush is the headline element of Shadows of the Hitokiri — a new mode where players will need to collect the most souls by killing soldiers, as well as Heroes on the opposing side.

Each team also has a stock of souls, which can be lost if a Hero is killed by a Hero on the other side. Souls earned by defeating soldiers must be deposited in designated areas on the map, which in turn, increases your team’s score.

On top of the new Soul Rush limited-time mode, players will also have a chance of acquiring new Illustrious Outfits, effects, emotes and other cosmetics. The Outfits will costs 20,000 Steel per Hero, and there is one of these Illustrious Outfits per faction.

Outside of the Soul Rush limited-time mode, players will also be able to work together to complete community challenges. Once these expire, everyone who’s participated will earn 2,000 Steel and a special symbol. An additional weekly quest will also be added to the Arcade, which sees players investigate a strange curse set upon a village.

For Honor’s Shadows of the Hitokiri event runs from June 10 through till June 27. Check out the trailer for this new event down below.
