We get to see lovely renditions of Tifa, Cloud, Aerith, and Barret in two different formats, showing off their looks in charming detail.

You can enjoy them in the gallery below.

Since our gallery doesn’t support the massive resolution the images came with, you can also find them here with their original pixel count. I’m sure many of you will use them as new wallpapers. Just click on each image to enlarge it, then right-click on it, and select “save image as” to download it.

The resolution is so high that you can read Barret’s dog tags and count the hair on his chest, or enjoy the reflection in Tifa’s eyes and every pore on her skin. I tried translating the runes on her gauntlets, but they don’t appear to say anything relevant.

If you want to see more of the Final Fantasy VII Remake, you can check out today’s gameplay reveal and trailersyesterday’s traileranother from a few weeks ago, and a beautiful piece of concept artwork released with yesterday’s reveal, showing off Sephiroth.

You can also read more details about the voice and subtitle options that will be included in the game. Square Enix is going all out with this one.

The first episode of the Final Fantasy VII remake will launch on PS4 on March 3, 2020. Pre-orders should be going online today. No other platforms have been announced so far.
