Where the Barber Is

Before you can start going crazy with character customization, you’ll first need to locate the barber.

To get to him, you’ll need to enter the castle through the main entrance, find the Garden of Silence, then head back into the castle from the top left corner to get to the Zangetsu boss fight.

After beating Zangetsu, you’ll gain access to the Dian Cecht Cathedral, which is where Todd the barber is located. He can be found in the top left room of the main cathedral hall, right opposite the fast travel point with the flying gargoyle enemy in the middle.

We’ve included a screenshot down below to pinpoint his exact location.

Changing Hairstyle and Appearance

When you speak to Todd, he’ll give you the option to change Miriam’s hairstyle and appearance for free. You can change her hairstyle and hair color, though additional hairstyles can only be unlocked as you progress through the game and find more key items.

In addition to that, Todd also allows you to customize Miriam’s dress colors, her eye color, and even her skin color. Essentially, you can create a whole new character who looks nothing like the main protagonist of Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, which is pretty neat.

Outside of using Todd to change character appearance, certain bits of armor and accessories will also alter your appearance. Headpieces and accessories, in particular, will change Miriam’s look in-game, so you can experiment with those as well.

That’s all you need to know about how to change hairstyle and appearance in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
