According to Irwing, the big thing for the team this year is working with “game changers and influences” and it’s all about talking to them, and getting feedback from all players in order to create a great update with The Cataclysm which is currently on the public test server.

Irwing also talked about the first four months for the game and the future.

“It’s been a wild ride. We’ve learned a lot of lessons over the last four months, and I think one of the most important ones is just around listening to player feedback. We spent some time really trying to get this PTS game update out and making sure it set us saying to players “Hey this is what we think is really exciting.” Just give them the game update and “you come and tell us, what are the things that you do like and the things that you don’t like” so we can learn more from what the players want.”

He added that what the team thinks doesn’t really matter as much as what the players think. If they love what’s coming that’s great, otherwise they will provide feedback and BioWare will do its best to address it.

Asked what is the future for Anthem, and if there is a future for Anthem, Irwing answered:

“Yes, there’s a future for Anthem. A very bright future we heard. It’s kind of the same thing: we have learned a lot this last few months. We really want to make the game better. We believe Anthem can be a really amazing game. We know we have some work to do. We just want to work with the community to build it together and make it the game that everyone wants it to be.”

Anthem is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want to learn more, you can read our review.
