Each trainer will only have one partner Pokemon by their side, which are called Sync Pairs. As of right now, only 15 Sync Pairs have been confirmed, but there will be about 65 pairs to recruit at launch with more to come post-launch.

We have compiled a list of all 15 Sync Pairs that we know about so far, which you can check out down below.

Main Character and Pikachu

When you first boot up Pokemon Masters, you will be able to choose between the male or female starter character for your adventures on the island of Pasio.

Oh, and guess what? Your partner Pokemon is, of course, a Pikachu!

Red and Charizard

Red, the man who started it all, comes packing heat in Pokemon Masters with his trusty fire-breathing Charizard. He also has blue flames on his pants so you know that he’s serious about becoming the winner of this tournament.

Of course, Red first appeared as the main protagonist in Pokemon Red and Blue back in 1998.

Iris and Haxorus

In the original version of Pokemon Black & White, Iris was the leader of the Opelucid City gym.

In B&W2, she went on to become the champion of the Elite Four thanks to her powerful team of Dragon-type Pokemon, especially her hard-armored axe jaw Pokemon, Haxorus.

Thorton and Bronzong

Thorton first appeared in Pokemon Platinum as the Factory Head over at the Battle Frontier in the Sinnoh region. He’s a super smart kid that excels in analyzing his opponents and his Pokemon knowledge is unparalleled.

His special partner in Pokemon Masters is the Steel/Psychic-type Pokemon, Bronzong.

Acerola and Palossand

This witchy little girl acts as one of the highly trained members of the Alola region’s Elite Four. The Ghost-type trainer doesn’t step a foot without her trusty partner Pokemon, Palossand.

She’s sure to be a loyal companion if you end up recruiting her for your Pokemon Masters team.

Rosa and Snivy

First appearing as the female protagonist in Pokemon Black and White 2, Rosa is an all-around fantastic trainer whose dream is to have many Pokemon battles with trainers from all over the regions.

The Unova Grass-type starter Pokemon, Snivy, is her ride or die Poke-partner.

Barry and Piplup

Barry is your rival character in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum that can be a bit too clumsy at times. His high spirits and passion for Pokemon makes him a great Pokemon trainer to have on your team.

And just look at his adorable little Piplup! How can you not want him near you at all times?

Misty and Starmie

Who can forget the OG Water-type gym leader from the Kanto region, Misty. Her tomboyish nature and tough attitude will prove to be useful in the Pokemon battles that lie ahead.

Misty’s partner Pokemon is none other than Starmie, the Water-type Pokemon that has always been by Misty’s side through thick and thin.

Brock and Onix

Brock is another one of those OG gym leaders from the Kanto region that any old-school fan will remember. His partner Pokemon is the rock/snake thing named Onix, and if you love to eat good food on a long trek, Brock will be there to make some stew or something.

Clair and Kingdra

Clair is one of the best Dragon-type gym leaders around, with her hailing from the Johto region’s Blackthorn City. While she has a strong roster of dragons and such, she is bringing along her Kingdra to participate in the Pokemon Masters League.

Korrina and Lucario

Korrina, the Fighting-type gym leader from the Kalos region, loves to roll around on her skates and is one of the most lively trainers around these parts.

Lucario is a very powerful Fighting/Steel-type Pokemon who uses mysterious aura abilities to overpower its foes. Korinna may not look like a powerful contender, but her power is high and mighty.

Cynthia and Garchomp

Cynthia is the almighty champion of the Sinnoh Pokemon League and has been researching the history and mythology of Pokemon for quite some time.

The powerful Ground/Dragon-type Pokemon, Garchomp, is her partner Pokemon that she’s bringing to the island of Pasio for the Pokemon Masters League.

Flannery and Torkoal

Flannery is the Fire-type gym leader in the Hoenn region’s Lavaridge town that is known for her heated passion for Pokemon. She’s also admired for her beauty and strength, but she tries a bit too hard to act serious.

That volcanic turtle by her side is none other than Torkoal, the Fire-type coal Pokemon –a fantastic Sync Pair if you ask me.

Brendan and Treeko

Brendan’s dad is one of the gym leaders in the Hoenn region and he would love to be as powerful as him one day. Brendan can be quite the mischievous Pokemon trainer but his partner Pokemon, Treeko, is there to keep him centered.

Brendan was first introduced in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

Blue and Pidgeot

In the anime, you may know Blue as Gary. He’s the grandson of the esteemed Professor Oak, which gives him some advantage when it comes to Pokemon knowledge.

Blue will be able to pack quite the punch because he’s got Pidgeot by his side in Pokemon Masters.

Pokemon Masters will be launching this summer for Android and iOS devices. As the game comes closer to launch, Twinfinite will have plenty of guides and other features related to the mobile title so make sure to stay tuned.
