During Sony’s second episode of State of Play, the company announced a new game from developer Illfonic. Predator: Hunting Grounds is an online asymmetrical multiplayer shooter that pits a fire team against the stealthy killing machines known as Predators.
Illfonic is apparently handling the development of the game in close association with 20th century Fox, who currently owns the trademark for Predator.
Here’s a synopsis of the game via PlayStation:
“Drop into the Predator universe through a new competitive online multiplayer experience. Play as an elite Fireteam charged to complete paramilitary operations while a Predator mercilessly hunts you. Or, BE the Predator, armed with all the deadly alien weaponry you’ve grown to love and pursue your prey. The Hunt Begins 2020.”
