Fortnite: How to Get the Season 9 Battle Pass

fortnite, season 9, battle pass

Another ten weeks have passed and Season 8 of Fortnite is officially no more. As usual, Fortnite Season 9 brings with it some changes to the map, a bunch of cosmetics for players to enjoy, and some challenges to complete. To get involved in everything that is new, you’ll need the Battle Pass. Here’s how to get the Fortnite Season 9 Battle Pass.

How to Get the Fortnite Season 9 Battle Pass

The Battle Pass gives you access to a whole host of new challenges, a new Tier 100 skin to unlock, and more. If Epic has continued to allow you to get the Battle Pass from Overtime challenges, that may be a way of getting it for free. Otherwise you can also purchase the Battle Pass.

Buying the Season 9 Battle Pass

Of course, you can buy the Battle Pass using real-world money, as you’d expect.

To do this, you’ll need to have some V-Bucks available. These can be purchased by heading to the ‘Store’ tab from the ‘Lobby’ by pressing L1/ LB and R1/ RB. You’ll need 950 V-Bucks to just buy the Season 9 Battle Pass, or you can get the Battle Bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks.

The bundle option gives you the Battle Pass and a 25-Tier head start, meaning you’ll have a bunch of cosmetics right from the get-go. It also takes some of the stress of completing weekly challenges off you if you’re wanting to reach Tier 100, too.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Fortnite Season 9 Battle Pass. For more tips, tricks, and guides on this new season, be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 9 guide wiki or search for Twinfinite.
