How to find Fortbyte 50 in Fortnite Season 9

In Season 9, Fortnite introduced a brand new collectible known as Fortbytes. These in-game items can be found scattered throughout the map.

In order to find them, players will need to complete a varying amount of tasks. Whether it is reaching a certain amount of XP, completing other challenges, or even solving riddles, there are numerous different ways to earn these collectibles.

The fun part is that a new Fortbyte is released every day in Fortnite. Not only does this reward dedicated players with plenty of XP, but it also allows anyone who collects 90 of the 100 Fortbytes throughout the event a special Utopia Battle Star skin.

As you can see, Fortbytes are pretty important in Season 9. Now that you know what they are, you’re ready to find Fortbyte 50.

The Ruined Castle

To find this Fortbyte, you’ll need to head directly east of the Haunted Hills. There you will find the ruined castle.

Head inside of the castle and go towards the throne room. It is pretty easy to find, as it is the largest room in the area and has a throne.

Directly across from the throne, you’ll find a small hallway. Tuck around the corner to the left, you’ll find what you seek.

Just like with previous Fortbytes, you’ll need to walk over to it, and press X on Xbox One, Square on PS4, Y on Nintendo Switch, and E on PC to interact with and collect it.
