Today Granzella announced that its earthquake survival game Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories will soon be landing on Nintendo Switch.

The game was originally launched last year for PS4 after a long development cycle which included delays for various reasons, prompting the player to guide a survivor to safety through an earthquake-stricken city in Japan.

The goal of the Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories is to provide a rather realistic view of how people react to natural disasters, and of disaster prevention and relief.

We also hear that the Switch version will release in Japan in September 2019, and will cost 6,480 yen plus taxes.

On top of the Switch release, the developer announced that the PS4 version of the game will finally receive a (previously delayed) DLC package in late May.

At the moment, a western release of either the PS4 or the Switch version has not been announced. Hopefully, someone will pick it up soon, since the game is quite interesting.

Of course, as soon as anything moves in that direction, you’ll be able to read it here on Twinfinite.

In the meanwhile, Granzella is preparing to launch a Kickstarter campaign for its new game, R-Type Final2.
