The free-to-play action-RPG Dauntless has finally made its way to consoles, and Monster Hunter fans should find a lot to love. Being the kind of game it is, Dauntless has plenty of daily challenges to undertake, especially with the fifth season of the hunt. Here’s where to find Daily Deathmarks and what they do in Dauntless.
Where to Find Daily Deathmarks & What They Do in Dauntless
How to Find Them
Deathmarks are basically little collectibles that you can find scattered around the hub of Ramsgate. These can be collected daily, and while they typically aren’t hard to find, their location will change each and every day.
The items are kunai stabbed into doors or posts, with a red cloth hanging down, but they kind of look like shimmering red flagposts. Each day there will be 10 to collect, so it’s always a good idea to run up to a high point in Ramsgate and scan the area, looking for as many as you can.
What They Do
Like pretty much everything else in Dauntless, you’ll want to collect Deathmarks in order to get experience. Finding all 10 will net you a nifty 50 experience toward your next Hunt Pass rank so they’re definitely worth your time, especially if you find yourself playing the game every day.
Of course, there are plenty of other ways of gaining experience for you Hunt Pass rank, whether that’s gathering resources while you’re out on hunts, or taking on specific ones that explicitly help you rank up.
