How to Get the Conductive Shockspine and What It’s For in Dauntless
How to Get It
The Conductive Shockspine is a crafting material that can only be obtained from the Shockjaw Nayzaga. The important thing to note here is that it can only be dropped by the Shockjaw variant found in the Maelstrom region at Aulric’s Refuge, and not the regular Nayzaga, so don’t waste your time farming the wrong monster.
The Conductive Shockspine is also a very rare drop that you can get by breaking the Shockjaw Nayzaga’s back. Even if you do break its back, though, this is a rare drop, which means that you’ll likely need to farm the Behemoth a few times to get what you need.
It’s also weak to the Terra element, so keep that in mind and use that to your advantage when fighting this Behemoth in Dauntless.
What It’s Used For
The Conductive Shockspine is one of the reagent items in Dauntless, which basically means that it’s a crafting material used for creating better armor and weapons.
In this case, it can be used for crafting powerful Nayzaga gear for your character. As is the case with most other weapon and armor sets, you’ll still need Orbs and other monster parts to complete the crafting process for most pieces.
Once you have all the materials you need, head back to town and start crafting your new gear.
For your reference, here’s a list of the weapons and armor that can be crafted with the Conductive Shockspine:
- Shockjaw Sword
- Shockjaw Smasher
- Shockjaw Blades
- Shockjaw Scythe
- Shockjaw Pike
- Shockjaw Mask
- Shockjaw Bracers
- Shockjaw Vest
- Shockjaw Greaves
