Where the Knife Points on the Treasure Map Loading Screen in Fortnite
One of Fortnite’s Season 8 week 6 challenges tasks players with figuring out where the knife points on the treasure map loading screen. If you’re struggling to figure it out, fear not, we’re here to guide you right to the exact location.
What the Loading Screen Looks Like
First off, it’s worth familiarizing yourself with what the treasure map loading screen looks like. It’s the same one that we had to use to figure out where the magnifying glass was pointing to on Fortnite’s map, too.
The best landmark you can use to figure out where the knife’s pointing to here is just below it. That little squiggle next to two checkered flags looks a little familiar, doesn’t it? Well, turns out that’s the racetrack just north of Paradise Palms, commonly referred to as GUS.
Where the Knife Points to on the Treasure Map Loading Screen – J6
To track down this location, you’re going to want to head to grid reference J6. Specifically, head towards a cluster of four trees on your map. Here’s where the knife points at a quick glance on Fortnite’s map.
Once you reach this rough location just north of the racetrack, you want to keep an eye out for a cluster of trees. The exact location you’re looking for can be pretty tricky to spot from above, as the trees cover the dirt patch, but when you spot four trees clumped together on your map, you know you’re in the right place. Begin landing here and then look out for the dirt patch on the ground, as shown in the screenshot below.
Once you’ve found the dirt patch, the Battle Star should reveal itself right in front of your eyes. Then it’s simply a case of pressing X, Square, E, or Y to interact with it and pick it up.
