What Fortnite Season 8 Week 9 Challenges Are

As we always do around here, we’re starting off by breaking down exactly what these challenges are that you’ll need to complete.

While a lot of players’ attention will be on the new Endgame LTM as part of the Fortnite x Avengers crossover event, there’s still work to be done on these challenges, and we’ve got you covered. Check out the Fortnite week 9 challenges in the screenshot down below.

How to Complete All Fortnite Season 8 Week 9 Challenges

  • Stage 1: Land at Loot Lake
    • Stage 2: Land at Lucky Landing
    • Stage 3: Land at Salty Springs
    • Stage 4: Land at Lonely Lodge
    • Stage 5: Land at Haunted Hills
  • Search Chests at Polar Peak or Lonely Lodge (7)
  • Ride 3 Different Volcano Vents Without Landing (1)
  • Stage 1: Dance Between Three Ice Sculptures
    • Stage 2: Dance Between Three Dinosaurs
    • Stage 3: Dance Between Four Hot Springs
  • Deal damage to opponents from below (500)
  • Revive a Teammate at a Reboot Van (1)
  • Eliminate an Opponent in Different Matches (5)

Quickly running through the week 9 challenges in Fortnite, there’s honestly not a whole lot that’s going to trip you up. The ‘Land at’ challenges are self-explanatory and don’t need me to break down, the same applies for searching chests at Polar Peak or Lonely Lodge.

If you’re struggling to find a good place to ride three different volcano vents without landing, we recommend heading up to map coordinates G2. Here, you’ll find a bunch of hot springs (that sounds familiar, but more on that in a minute), and surrounding them are a ton of volcano vents.

Simply hop into one, glide above another, dive down, and rinse repeat. There are about five different vents here that you can use to complete this week 9 challenge, so it shouldn’t be too difficult. It could be a little busy though with everyone trying to complete these challenges as fast as possible.

You’ll then be tasked with dancing between three ice sculptures, three dinosaurs, and four hot springs (oh these again), in another staged challenge in Fortnite week 9. Simply follow our handy guide here, and you’ll track down all of the locations in no time at all.

The next challenge is all about dealing damage to opponents from below. We’d actually suggest trying to pick off other players using volcano vents to complete the aforementioned week 9 challenge up by the hot springs.

There should be a ton of players around here floating around, making them fairly easy and defenseless targets. Get a good assault rifle or other ranged weapon in and this shouldn’t be too difficult.

Alternatively, try picking off people generally on higher surfaces or structures than you, or even as they’re using ziplines. There are plenty of opportunities to deal damage from below so it shouldn’t be too tricky racking up 500 damage.

The final Fortnite week 9 challenge that really needs explaining here is reviving a teammate at a Reboot Van. This requires you to be playing either Duos or Squads and to simply pick up their reboot card when they’re eliminated. Walk on over to a Reboot Van, interact with it, and your teammate will eventually return. For more information on Reboot Vans, check our guide here.

That’s everything you need to know about how to complete the week 9 challenges in Fortnite Season 8. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the current season, be sure to check out our ever-expanding guide wiki.
