Today Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the western release of Doraemon Story of Seasons.
The game will launch in the west for PlayStation Switch and PC via Steam in Fall 2019, mixing the popular anime series with the Story of Seasons farming adventure franchise.
The game is basically a Story of Seasons (which older fans may know as Harvest Moon) game set in the ultra-popular Doraemon anime franchise. It’s designed with a warm, nostalgic visual style that resembles a picture book, and lets the player handle a farm, interact with the village, and explore the surrounding land as Doraemon protagonist Nobita.
Players will be able to enjoy traditional Story of Seasons activities like growing crops, cultivating farms, exploring, bug hunting, all alongside Doraemon’s charming characters.
I’d say it’s a marriage made in heaven between two franchises that match each other perfectly.
Doraemon Story of Seasons is published by Bandai Namco and co-developed by Marvelous Entertainment and Brownies.
