How to Change Aim Sensitivity in Days Gone

Recommended Videos

Properly lining up your shot to take down an enemy is crucial to survival in Days Gone, and that’s why it’s not surprising some players might be wondering how to change the aim sensitivity.

Impacting how quickly your aiming retinal can be moved while aiming a gun, Days Gone’s aim sensitivity functions much like any other shooter’s.

However, some might find it a bit too sensitive, moving off the mark after only a slight input to the analog stick. This can lead to many a botched shot, with more than a few deaths and restarted missions as a result.

Fortunately, it’s not too hard to alter the game’s aim sensitivity to be less finicky.

Where to Go to Change the Aim Sensitivity

Open up the main menu with the Options button. From here, you should see a list of different menus to choose from.

Select the Options menu. This should take you to a screen where you can alter the controls and settings for on-foot gameplay. A menu at the bottom left corner of the screen will tell you which changes will be registered in the game.

Aim and camera sensitivity will be the first two options on the list. Select either one to alter their sensitivity by pressing right on the D-Pad to increase it or left on the D-Pad to decrease it. This can also be done by using the left analog stick.

Afterward, you can go back to your game and test out these new settings, making adjustments as you see fit.

Hopefully, this cleared up how to change the aim sensitivity in Days Gone. For more tips, tricks and secrets tied to the title, check out our guide wiki for everything you’ll need to know while playing the game.
