Vanillaware’s 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim for PS4 Gets New Clips Showing Characters in Motion

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Vanillaware and Atlus are preparing to release the Prologue version of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim in Japan, and they’re celebrating with video clips.

The small videos published on Atlus’ official Japanese Twitter account showcase some of the characters of the game.

Interestingly, they are showcased in the most appropriate way to a Vanillaware, with their 2D sprites looping in their animations. They look great since Vanillaware is one of the most proficient teams in 2D artwork.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim doesn’t yet have a full release window, but a prologue version with three hours of gameplay will be released on March 14 in Japan, exclusively for PS4.

The most peculiar aspect of this operation is that fans will actually have to pay in order to gain access to what appears to be pretty much a large demo.

If you want to see more about it you can check out the latest trailer. The prologue version has not been announced for the west, so we’ll have to wait and see if Atlus decides to publish it at some point.
