Tekken 7 Director Katsuhiro Harada is known to be rather outspoken, and he recently took to Twitter to respond to a fan who asked him to include a Viking fighter in Tekken.

Harada-san explained that he would like to try that kind of design, but in this day and age, this kind of challenge is made difficult by people who would complain about a stereotypical representation. He also sarcastically argued that perhaps everyone should just wear plain T-Shirts and jeans, because if there is a specific design, it could offend someone, somewhere.

Harada-san then mentioned that he is tired of trying to avoid offending people.

Responding to many fans who offered outpouring support, he encouraged them not to worry, as the team will ultimately do what they want to do.
