No More Heroes Creator Suda51 Returns to Fire Pro Wrestling World with a New Scenario

Fire Pro Wrestling World, Suda 51

Not many know that Goichi “Suda51” Suda, famous for games like No More Heroes and Killer is Dead, started his career at Human Entertainment with the Fire Pro Wrestling series. Today we learn that he will go back to his roots in Fire Pro Wrestling World.

Suda-san will take the reins of a DLC scenario for the game titled The Vanishing, of which you can see the key art below. No further details have been provided at the moment.

Between 1993 and 1994, he directed Super Fire Pro Wrestling 3 Final Bout and then Super Fire Pro Wrestling Special for Super Famicom. The latter had a particularly dark story that contributed to propelling the prolific developer (who also took care of writing the scenario) under the spotlight.

I won’t spoil it in case you manage to get a copy and play it, but things get really, really dark, which shouldn’t surprise you all that much.

At the moment it’s unclear whether The Vanishing will in any way be linked to that story, but I certainly wouldn’t be surprised.

Fire Pro Wrestling World is currently available for PS4 and PC. No Release date or even a window for The Vanishing DLC has been provided.

If you’re interested in Goichi Suda’s work, he recently released Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, of which you can read our review.
