Today FromSoftware and Activision released a new trailer of the upcoming Souls-like (but not too much) game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
The video is of the launch trailer variety (Activision loves to pull out “launch” trailers several days or even weeks before the actual release of its games), and as such it shows pretty much all there is to see to get interested in the game, including epic cutscenes and brutal battles.
Sekiro is a brand new take on the Souls-like formula, with plenty of fresh elements that will cause fans of the series to have to forget part of their muscle memory and learn new techniques.
You can check it out below. If you want to see more of the game, you can enjoy a trailer showcasing the story, another video showing the corrupted monk, one starring General Tenzen Yamauchi, and another featuring Lady Butterfly, one more showing off the Chained Ogre, and one featuring the Great Serpent.
Just yesterday, FromSoftware revealed the game’s map and presented a lot of gameplay including a look at levels, boss battles, and combat in general.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 22, 2019.
