How to Complete All Season 8 Week 3 Challenges in Fortnite

Recommended Videos

The next batch of Fortnite challenges has arrived, and this week they’re all fairly easy. Still, there’s the odd one or two that may trip you up, or just have a particularly easy way to get them done and dusted. Here’s how to complete all Fortnite week 3 challenges in Season 8.

What the Challenges Are

Currently, the challenges list we have down below comes via a leak following the most recent content update. These tend to be correct, though, but just so you know for sure that these are the real deal, we’ll be including a screenshot of the challenges list within Fortnite down below.

Now that we know what the Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 challenges are, it’s time to take a look at how to complete them fast and easy.

Tips to Complete the Fortnite Week 3 Challenges Fast

  • Stage 1: Destroy Cacti in the Desert (30)
    • Stage 2: Search ammo boxes in the Snow biome
    • Stage 3: Search chests in the Jungle
  • Get an Elimination with an SMG, Pistol and Sniper Rifle (3)
  • Search Chests at Sunny Steps or Fatal Fields (7)
  • Search where the magnifying glass sits at the Treasure Map loading screen
  • Deal headshot damage to opponents (500)
  • Place different Trap Slot items in a single match (2)
  • Stage 1: Visit Fatal Fields and Salty Springs in a single match
    • Stage 2: Visit Haunted Hills and Tilted Towers
    • Stage 3: Visit Frosty Flights and Loot Lake
    • Stage 4: Visit Lucky Landing and Retail Row
    • Stage 5: Visit Snobby Shores and Tomato Temple

The first of the Fortnite challenges in week 3 tasks players destroying cacti in the desert as the first stage, searching ammo boxes in the snow biome for the second, and chests in the Aztec for the final stage. We’ve got a handy guide here to help you out.

Next up, you’ll need to get an elimination with an SMG, Sniper Rifle, or Pistol. This Fortnite week 3 challenge doesn’t require you to get all of these eliminations in a single game, so simply take your time getting them done. Limited Time Modes that allow respawns, such as Disco Domination, are perfect for getting these done in a single game.

The next of the Fortnite week 3 challenges is all about searching chests at Fatal Fields or Sunny Steps. We’ve got a complete breakdown of the different Sunny Steps chest locations you can use to clear this one up with ease.

You’ll then need to take a look at the loading screen, unlocked at Tier 10 in the Battle Pass. Figure out where that circle of trees is, and then head there. Alternatively, you can just check out our guide on this right here.

You’ll also need to deal headshot damage to opponents. If possible, nab yourself a sniper, as you can deal huge amounts of headshot damage in a single shot if you’ve got good aim.

The wording of this next challenge may confuse a few players, but it’s actually straightforward. You need to ‘place Trap Slot items’ in a single match. This basically means anything like Mounted Turrets, Traps, Launch Pads, and Cozy Campfires will count towards this one of the week 3 Fortnite challenges.

The final challenge is all about visiting different named locations in a single match. We advise grabbing yourself a hoverboard or Baller and quickly jetting between these as you go. Combine this with the week 3 challenge for using The Baller in different matches and you can kill two birds with one stone.

That’s all you need to know to complete all Fortnite week 3 challenges. For more tips, tricks, and guides for the current season, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Fortnite Season 8 guide wiki.
