Today Koei Tecmo released update 1.02 for its recently-released fighting game Dead or Alive 6.
The update is currently available for download from the PSN in all regions and comes with the following patch notes.
- Added additional costume support.
- Adjusted game balance.
- Corrected various bugs and issues.
The most visible change is definitely the one made to costumes. Now you’ll only drop outfit patterns for the character you’re currently using. Which costume those parts will be for is still random, but it narrows down costume unlocks enough that you’ll be able to get what you want reasonably quickly, even more so with the launch event that multiples part drops up to 100 times until March 28.
That being said, unlocks might become rather slow when the bonus will eventually be removed, so Team Ninja might have some more balancing to do down the line.
One thing that wasn’t included in the patch is the implementation of online lobbies, which should come this month.
