Is There a Battle Pass in Firestorm? Answered

Recommended Videos

Launching a few months after the base game, Battlefield V’s Firestorm battle royale mode has finally arrived. So that you know about the progression and unlock system, here’s everything you need to know about if there is a battle pass in Firestorm.

The Battle Pass is one of the best parts of other battle royale games. In Fortnite, it gives players skins and items to work towards, as well as a set of challenges to complete every week.

The one in Apex Legends doesn’t offer any challenges to work towards but the skins you can get for leveling it up add another dimension to progression. It would be cool, therefore, for one to be included in Firestorm when it launches.

Unfortunately, there is no battle pass in Battlefield V Firestorm and DICE has said that one will not be added in the future. While that is disappointing, it makes sense with the mode’s progression system.

That being said, Firestorm doesn’t have its own progression system. You level up in the same way as in the standard multiplayer modes, with the same unlocks. Level 50 is the cap and you will simply continue from wherever you’ve got to since the game first released.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that no new content will be coming to Battlefield V’s Firestorm mode in lieu of a battle pass.

In an interview during a Firestorm preview event, Criterion told Twinfinite that weekly experiences will be added to the game in the coming weeks and months that will “drive value for the game create new ways to experience Battlefield.” We will update you once we know what they are exactly.

That’s everything you need to know about if there is a battle pass in Firestorm. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our Firestorm wiki guide.
