Level-5 President Akihiro Hino himself will take care of the role of general producer and write the screenplay for the film.

Yoshiyuki Momose of Studio Ghibli fame will work on the film as the director, and Joe Hisaishi will of course compose the music.

Tokyo-based studio OLM (that has worked on the Yo-Kai Watch and Inazuma Eleven anime, alongside plenty of Pokémon and more) will take care of the animation.

Kento Yamazaki (Hirotaka in Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku) is the first voice actor who has been revealed, lending his voice to protagonist Yuu. Two more characters named Haru and Kotona were also showcased, but their voices weren’t announced.

The movie will have its own story different from the games, and it’s scheduled to premiere in Japan in the summer of 2019.
