If you’re an Xbox One owner who preordered the game, you should also soon be the lucky owner of Metro 2033 Redux, too. Here’s how to redeem Metro 2033 Redux preorder bonus for Metro Exodus.

If you preordered the game either physically or digitally on Xbox One, you should receive Metro 2033 Redux as a bonus. The methods of redeeming this are different depending on how you preordered the game, so we’ve broken down both options below.

How to Redeem Metro 2033 Redux from a Physical Copy of Metro Exodus

If you preordered the game physically, you should receive a code. If you went in to a store to pick up the game, it often comes printed out on a bit of receipt paper.

On the other hand, if you preordered Metro Exodus from an online retailer like Amazon or just GameStop’s website, you should be emailed a code.

Once you’ve got this code, you’ll want to turn your Xbox One on, and head to the Store tab from your Home screen. Now, select the ‘Use a Code’ option and enter the code.

It should appear that the code entitles you to a free copy of Metro 2033 Redux, confirm this, and it’ll be added to your library of games on your Xbox One.

How to Redeem from a Digital Copy

If you preordered Metro Exodus digitally, you don’t actually have to really do anything. On release date, not only should Exodus be ready for you to play, but 2033 Redux should also appear in your library of games under the ‘Ready to Install’ tab.

Simply select it and press A and confirm to begin installing it on your system.
