During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, a brand new trailer was shown off for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. In addition to some sleek new gameplay footage, the game added on a few new characters including Iron Fist and Carol Danvers, better known as Captain Marvel.
You’ll be able to play Ultimate Alliance 3 solo, together in TV mode, in local co-op with multiple Switches, or online as well. Characters will level up as you use them in Ultimate Alliance 3, earning skills that you can use during battle on the fly.
The trailer also shows how each character has something called “An Alliance Extreme Attack,” in addition to their normal attacks and skills. This ability is the most powerful move for each hero, and you can even combine these attacks with all four characters into an Ultimate Alliance Extreme Attacks.
Past that, however, just like in past games, single characters can combine their skills into Synergy Attacks. The trailer has gameplay showing all of these different systems off, so you can take a look at it down below.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is set to launch sometime in Summer 2019 on Nintendo Switch. Other news during the Nintendo Direct included a new game from Platinum called Astral Chain, and Super Mario Maker 2.
