Far Cry New Dawn is the latest shooter spin-off by Ubisoft. Set after the events of the fifth game, players will be exploring the remains of an apocalyptic Hope County. With the game launching in less than a week, here’s what you need to know about the Far Cry New Dawn preload and unlock time.

Those who choose to purchase the game digitally can actually download the game prior to release. While it’ll still be locked before launch, players won’t have to go through the trouble of having to spend time downloading the file on the day.

Far Cry New Dawn is launching across three platforms, the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, so here’s when you can preload the game on your console:

  • PC: Available Now
  • PS4: Available Now
  • Xbox One: Available now

Update: We have now updated the above list to show that Far Cry New Dawn’s preload is available on all platforms now.

While there’s no official Far Cry New Dawn preload date for the PC and PS4, we’ll be sure to update this post as soon as we learn more info. That said, it probably won’t be too long now before fans can download the game on the said consoles, as Xbox One players already have access to the file.

As for when the game will unlock, Far Cry New Dawn is slated to launch on Feb. 15, which is on a Friday. Fans should be able to play the game at midnight on release day, regardless whether they’ve loaded the game on their system or not.

That about wraps up everything you need to know about the Far Cry New Dawn preload and unlock times. If you’re looking for more details on the game, be sure to check our Far Cry New Dawn guide wiki.
