How Long Far Cry New Dawn Is & How Many Missions There Are

Recommended Videos

Far Cry New Dawn serves as a standalone sequel to last year’s Far Cry 5, and it’s also considerably shorter than the original game. Here’s how long Far Cry New Dawn is, and how many missions there are in the game.

How Long it Takes to Beat

In our first playthrough, it took us about 15 hours to complete the campaign, and that includes dabbling in a few Expeditions, and scavenged outposts. We certainly haven’t completed every single mission in Far Cry New Dawn yet, though, so completionists will likely be able to spend even more time with the game.

How Many Missions Far Cry New Dawn Has

There are a total of three main acts, and 22 main story missions, as listed below. Do be warned that some of the mission names might serve as slight spoilers for the story, so skip ahead if you want to go in completely fresh.

Complete Mission List

Act I:

  • Crawling from the Wreckage
  • Find Hope
  • Breakout
  • Gear Up
  • Losing Streak
  • Deep Dive
  • Buzz Kill
  • Under Siege
  • New Eden’s Secret
  • The Prophecy

Far Cry New Dawn Act II:

  • Eden’s Fire
  • Into the Bliss
  • Joseph’s Secret
  • Adventures in Babysitting

Act III:

  • The Great Escape
  • Homecoming
  • Through the Wringer
  • Now That’s Entertainment
  • Inside Job
  • Riding Derby
  • Problem Solver
  • Ethan’s Soul

After completing all the main story missions in Far Cry New Dawn, the credits will roll, but you’ll still be able to continue playing the game.

You won’t be able to replay any of the story missions on that save file, but you can pursue the rest of the optional content like any remaining Expeditions or outposts you have left over.

That’s all you need to know about how long Far Cry New Dawn is, and how many missions there are in the game. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
