How to Fast Travel in Far Cry New Dawn
Far Cry New Dawn is a new standalone game that serves as a direct sequel to Far Cry 5. Unlike previous games, however, fast traveling is actually a little tricky in this entry. Here’s how to fast travel in Far Cry New Dawn.
In previous games, you could usually immediately fast travel to key locations or outposts that you had discovered and liberated. This was especially useful, considering how big the maps were.
However, in Far Cry New Dawn, things work a little differently. At the start of the game, Prosperity is the only place you’ll be able to fast travel to. All other locations are locked.
In order to unlock fast travel for the rest of Far Cry New Dawn’s map, you’ll need to raise your Expeditions level to level 2. To do this, go back to Prosperity and look for the Expeditions area. It’s essentially the ground helipad in the game with a large helicopter on it, so you can’t miss it.
Examine the blue marker, and you’ll see the option to upgrade the facility. In order to reach level 1, you’ll need 75 Ethanol. And in order to reach level 2, you’ll need 125 Ethanol.
Once your Expeditions facility hits level 2, you’ll be able to fast travel to any previously discovered location on the map at no cost at all. Because the map in Far Cry New Dawn is fairly large as well, this is definitely one of the first things you’ll want to do when you first get started in the game.
