Today Atlus opened a new survey to receive feedback from its fans, and it included quite a few interesting questions and possible answers for fans of several of the publisher’s series.
First of all, fans are given the chance to mention which among Atlus USA’s properties they’d like to see new content for.
Interestingly, a lot of the questions about specific franchises revolve around ports and new content.
Fans of Catherine are asked if they want a sequel/next installment, a remake/remaster (which is a bit weird, considering that Catherine: Full Body has just been released in Japan and is coming west in September), DLC, an Xbox One port, or a Switch port.
Possible answers for Dragon’s Crown are similar, but the port possibilities are Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
Etrian Odyssey fans are asked if they want DLC, remake/remasters, or a sequel.
Persona fans are asked if they want DLC, remake/remasters, a new installment, or ports on Xbox One, PC, or Nintendo Switch.
Shin Megami Tensei fans get the same options, but the ports listed are Xbox One, Switch, PC, or PS4.
Further questions are less interesting (at least for us) revolving around pre-orders, physical vs digital, merchandise, collector’s edition, and where you get your gaming news. You should most definitely tell Atlus USA that you read your news on Twinfinite since you’re reading this article, after all.
That being said, it’s relevant to mention that this survey (like all surveys) should not be taken as the specific intent to port any game to any platform, or to create any sequel, remaster, or remake. It’s normally just a way for a regional branch of a developer to explore its customers’ taste and desire, and for you to let them know what you would like to see, but we shouldn’t extrapolate any promise or announcement from it.
