How to Melee Attack in Apex Legends
Apex Legends is the latest battle royale-esque title to enter the fray. This time, however, players find themselves in teams of three, each assuming the role of a different legend equipped with various unique abilities. Sometimes, though, you can’t beat just beating down your opponents. Here’s how to melee attack in Apex Legends.
To melee attack in Apex Legends, all you need to do is click down on the right analog stick on both PS4 and Xbox One. This is the button that melee attack is assigned to as part of the game’s default control scheme, however, the ‘Button Puncher’ and ‘Evolved’ controller preset options change it to Circle on PS4 and B on Xbox One.
On PC, you’ll need to press ‘V’ on your keyboard, but this can always be changed within the Apex Legends’ settings should that not work for you.
By performing a melee attack, your legend will swipe out forwards towards your opponent. Of course, it’s worth noting here that in order for a melee attack to be effective in the game, you’re going to need to be up close and personal with your target.
That’s pretty much all there is you need to know on how to melee attack in Apex Legends. It’s a pretty simple ability, but one that can come in handy when you’re under pressure at close range.
