How to Get Heirloom Sets & What They Are in Apex Legends

Recommended Videos

With Apex Legends, the new battle royale game from Respawn, being a free-to-play title, there are plenty of cosmetic items to earn in the game. Here is everything you need to know about how to get Heirloom Sets in Apex Legends and what they are.

What Heirloom Sets Are in Apex Legends

These are some extra special cosmetic items that can be found in Apex Packs and are rarer than any other.

The bonus set is a set of three items that always come together. The set is made up three items for Wraith: an intro quip, a banner pose, and a weapon skin.

How to Get Heirloom Sets & What The Odds Are

They cannot be crafted using Crafting Metals, so will have to be found by opening packs. Thankfully, Respawn has been pretty clear about how likely you are to get them.

You have a less than 1% chance of getting the set in an Apex Pack. However, as the game’s FAQs state, “a player cannot open more than 500 Apex Packs without receiving an Heirloom Set (assuming the player does not own all of those available).”

What’s also cool is that should you open an Apex Pack that includes one of the sets, it will not count as one of the packs you’ve opened. Essentially, it’s an additional free reward that’s on top of any earned by levelling up or bought from the store.

While this Wraith Heirloom Set is the only one in Apex Legends at the time of writing, Respawn confirmed that more will be added in the future.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get Heirloom Sets in Apex Legends and what they are. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
