Respawn has just released their new free-to-play battle royale game, Apex Legends, and you are able to change up the looks of the weapons and characters you use. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Apex Coins in Apex Legends and what they’re used for.

Apex Coins are the game’s premium currency and they are used for buying featured skins, new characters, or packs that contain random cosmetic items.

At the time of writing, all the featured skins in the Store section of the game cost 1800 Apex Coins, the exclusive skins cost 6500 or 10000 coins, Apex Cosmetic Packs are 100 coins each, and it costs 750 to unlock each of the additional Legends (Caustic and Mirage).

It’s pretty easy to get Apex Coins in Apex Legends, but you will need some real world money.

Starting from the lobby/play screen, there’s two ways to get to the Store and buy the coins. You can either press R1/RB to cycle to the right, going through the tabs at the top, or you can move the cursor to Store and select it that way.

Once you’re at the Store, you’ll have to do the same action to get across to the Apex Coins tab. This is where you can buy them from your platform’s store. The bundles of coins you can buy are:

  • 1000 coins – $9.99
  • 2000 coins + 150 bonus – $19.99
  • 4000 coins + 350 bonus – $39.99
  • 6000 coins + 700 bonus – $59.99
  • 10000 coins + 1500 bonus – $99.99

Once you have confirmed your purchase, you will see the number of coins you have in the top right of the screen, by the yellow icon. You will then be able to buy whatever skins or loot boxes you want.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get Apex Coins in Apex Legends and what they’re used for. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
