How to Show FPS Counter In-Game in Anthem
A lot of action can be popping off on-screen at any one time in Anthem, and as such, it can be a pretty demanding game. Especially considering how pretty it looks. Therefore, some players may be wondering what their FPS (Frames Per Second) is when running the game. Here’s how to show FPS in Anthem.
With Anthem being a game that runs through the Origin client on PC, there’s an incredibly handy way to show FPS counter in-game.
All you need to do is follow the bullet-point instructions below.
- Open Origin.
- Select Application Settings from the Origin dropdown on the toolbar.
- Choose the Origin In-Game option.
- Head down to During Gameplay.
- Click on the box next to ‘Display FPS Counter’ and choose the corner you want to show FPS in Anthem.
- Load up the game.
After completing these steps, you should then find that there’s an FPS counter in Anthem in whatever corner of the screen you selected when following the above steps. The digits are displayed in white font, so they tend to be pretty clear most of the time. Now you can see your FPS in Anthem!
It’s worth noting that, by enabling this FPS counter in Origin, it won’t just show up in Anthem, but any other games you may have installed through the service, such as The Sims 4, or Apex Legends.
If you want to turn the FPS counter off, simply follow the same instructions in the bullet points, and select ‘Don’t Display’ by the ‘Display FPS Counter’ option.
Sadly, it’s worth noting that, at this current moment in time, there’s no way to show FPS in Anthem on the PS4 or Xbox One. This is rarely a feature included in console versions of games, but if anything changes, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
