How to Get Corium for the Shield of Dawn in Anthem

Recommended Videos

Anthem is the latest online multiplayer RPG developed by BioWare and published by EA. As you progress through the story, you’ll eventually be tasked with finding a crafting material to continue. Here’s how to get Corium in Anthem for the Shield of Dawn.

After clearing out your Tomb trials in the story, you’ll need to craft the aforementioned shield. One of the crafting materials required is called Corium, which is a rare resource that can only be dropped by Titans.

If you played Anthem’s VIP Demo, you probably encountered these hefty monsters in one of the World Events. However, in the full game, Titans can be a little trickier to find.

Finding Titans to Get Corium in Anthem

Unfortunately, these Corium-dropping Titans spawn randomly in Anthem’s game world, which means that you won’t be able to find them as easily. However, there is a particular spawn point that you can try your luck in.

Start a Freeplay expedition to explore the world, then check your map and head to the Great Falls Canyon area. There is usually a Titan hanging out around here, and while it does have a massive health pool, you should be able to take it down easily by staying in the air and attacking from afar.

If you’re having trouble, consider bringing a squad in with you.

After killing the Titan, you’ll be able to harvest some Corium, which will allow you to make the Shield of Dawn. If the Titan isn’t there, it’s possible that it might have been killed by other players, so just reset the instance by spawning in again (like how you would in Destiny’s Escalation Protocol) and try your luck.

Starting the Triple Threat Mission

Alternatively, it’s also possible to try your hand at the Triple Threat mission in Anthem, which requires you to fight several Titans. Needless to say, this is a great way to farm Corium in Anthem, but it can also be tough depending on your loadout, and we recommend going in with a squad.

After getting the mission to craft the shield, go ahead and talk to Matthias in Fort Tarsis, and he’ll give you the mission to go hunt some Titans, who will also drop Corium.

As always, staying in the air and shooting from afar is a good idea. Try not to get too close to the Titans if possible.

Once you have all the Corium you need, you’ll be able to finally craft the fancy shield and continue progressing through the story.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Corium in Anthem. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our Anthem guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
