Sega will is about to launch the HD remaster of Yakuza 4 for PS4, and today it released another gallery of screenshots to provide another look at the game.
Given that Yakuza 4’s biggest enhancement io a resolution boost compared to the original PS3 version, the screenshots have a 1080p pixel count to provide a better idea of what fans can expect from this semi-fresh coat of paint.
This time around, the screenshots showcase the progression system, which allows players to improve the abilities of the playable characters and even to have them learn new skills.
The images also include one example of an unlockable skill for each of the four protagonists, Kazuma Kiryu, Shun Akiyama, Masayoshi Tanimura, and Taiga Saejima
You can check out the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can also take a look at more screenshots showing sidequests, an earlier gallery (focusing on the series’ beloved minigames) and the one released before.
The game will release for PS4 in Japan on Jan. 17. At the moment, a western release has not been announced.
If you’re wondering about the future of the series, we recently heard that Shin Yakuza is making progress, and Toshihiro Nagoshi is already planning a brand new project for the studio.
