To use skill moves in Travis Strikes Again all you really need to do is hold down the L button and press one of the four corresponding buttons: A, B, X, or Y. Travis will use a different skill depending on which button you’ve pressed.

You can assign different skills under each button and shuffle between all four of them during combat in Travis Strikes Again. Once you’ve used a certain skill move, you won’t be able to use it for a certain amount of time.

One clear indication when you can use it again is when the skill move’s icon lights up right about Travis’ head (your health gauge) on the left side of the screen. Make sure to use your skills wisely or else you’ll lack any abilities in a tight spot.
